Coastal Carolina Athletics Signs with Taymar Sales U. to Handle Outbound Ticket Sales

Conway, South Carolina (January 22, 2025) – Coastal Carolina Athletics and Taymar Sales U. have signed a multiyear agreement for the firm to handle outbound ticket sales with a focus on retention efforts.

"Coastal Carolina Athletics looks forward to partnering with Taymar Sales U. as part of our enhanced commitment to the overall fan experience,” said Chance Miller, Coastal Carolina Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics and University Recreation/Director of Athletics. “Taymar will support the department by building upon our outbound retention efforts, which are critical tools for future sustainability and growth. It’s an exciting time for Teal Nation as we continue to move into a new era of intercollegiate athletics."

Coastal Carolina is Taymar’s 27th client and third in the state of South Carolina, joining The Citadel and Furman. Coastal Carolina joins Georgia Southern as Taymar schools in the Sun Belt Conference.

“My wife Tammy (the Tay in Taymar) and I have lived in her hometown of Myrtle Beach for nearly five years, so going to work for Coastal Carolina has been a goal of mine during that time. The university is playing a vital role in the progress of the Grand Strand area economically and in improving the overall quality of life,” said Taymar Founder/CEO Mark Dyer. “Chance Miller is one of the most dynamic young athletics directors in the country. His experience at the University of South Carolina made him a great fit for the Coastal Carolina job. We are excited about being part of his team going forward.”

Taymar will recruit and install two senior account executives to work closely with Chanticleer Athletics to bring a data-driven approach to spearheading retention efforts and increasing revenue.
