UConn Selects Taymar Sales U. for its Ticket Sales Partner

Big East Conference School is the Second New Partner of 2021

DALLAS, TX – The University of Connecticut division of athletics has selected Taymar Sales U. as its new outbound ticket sales partner, becoming the company’s second new client in the past two weeks and the first from the Big East Conference.

The contract between UConn and the Aspire Group, the Huskies’ ticket sales partner since 2016, is set to expire this month and a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) resulted in the new partnership.

“There is a great deal of excitement surrounding many of our programs and it was clear that Taymar was best equipped to both leverage that interest and, more importantly, help us provide the best customer service possible to our loyal fans,” Director of Athletics David Benedict said.

“UConn is our first client in the northeast and I couldn’t think of a better one,” said Taymar Founder and CEO Mark Dyer. “David Benedict has boldly led the athletics program back to the prestigious Big East and is forging a new path for football that will allow scheduling matchups Husky fans want to see.

The nation’s mass vaccination program gives us optimism we can welcome UConn Nation back for the 2021-22 sports year, so our timing is right to get started reaching out to this great fan base,” Dyer added.

Taymar Sales U. will retain Craig Cugno as the General Manager who has over eight years of experience in both collegiate and professional sports ticket sales.
