Taymar Sales U. to Assist in Marketing and Ticket Sales at the Citadel
CHARLESTON, SC – The Citadel Department of Athletics announced Wednesday a partnership with Taymar Sales U., a college sports marketing company focused on driving new revenue for athletic departments that own and operate collegiate sporting events.
“The Citadel is excited to partner with Taymar Sales U. and create a great opportunity for future ticket sales and increased revenue,” said director of athletics Mike Capaccio. “Our goal is to increase our attendance at all events and this partnership will allow us to do that. We are working on a plan to add over three thousand new seats to our football stadium so the timing is right. Working with The Brigadier Foundation made this possible and it will allow us to better serve our season ticket holders and make new connections for future group and individual tickets sales. Additionally, I would like to thank our consultant on this, Dan Gale of the Leona Marketing Group for his help in navigating this process.”
Taymar Sales U. utilizes a partner-centric model, allowing for an open, creative and collaborative approach between the vendor and athletics department to help build ticket sales and attendance.
“We revere history and tradition at Taymar Sales U. and having the opportunity to work at The Citadel is an honor,” said Taymar founder Mark Dyer. “The tradition of the university and the Southern Conference is legendary and the school’s alumni take passion and loyalty to a new level. Charleston is one of America’s most dynamic cities and metropolitan areas. We look forward to working with athletics director Mike Capaccio, Kevin Olivett and the entire Bulldog team.”
Taymar Sales U. will also work with the Corps of Cadets in offering internships to those students enrolled in the Sport Management program at The Citadel.
The Citadel is Taymar’s sixth full management partner, joining Kentucky, Georgia State, LSU, Georgia Southern and Robert Morris.
Taymar has named Kyle Teegardin to be the Director of Sales for The Citadel. Teegardin has experience in both professional baseball and college sports ticket sales.
