RMU Extends. Expands Partnership with Taymar Sales U.

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA - The RMU Department of Athletics announced Wednesday a multi-year extension with Taymar Sales U., a college sports marketing company focused on driving new revenue for athletic departments that own and operate collegiate sporting events.

“Taymar Sales U. has played an integral role in our mission to UNITE as a campus, UNITE as a community and UNITE on game day, and we are pleased to extend our successful partnership,” RMU Vice President and Director of Athletics Chris King ’94 said. “RMU Athletics had another strong fiscal year with home football and men’s basketball attendance and reached record numbers in ticket revenue over the course of the last year. We look forward to continuing to work strategically with the Taymar team to bring significant enhancements to donor engagement and ticket sales and enhanced services to our ticket buyers. We thank Mark Dyer and Joe Rickert for their commitment to and support of Colonial Athletics.”

Taymar Sales U. focuses on a partner-centric model, allowing for an open, creative and collaborative approach between the vendor and the athletics department with a focus on building ticket sales and attendance.

“We are thrilled to be extending our long standing relationship with Robert Morris Athletics and adding to our team to expand our scope of work.” said Taymar President Joe Rickert. “We are grateful for the continued trust of Chris King and his first class team in Moon Township and look forward to continuing to work together in lock step to increase revenue.”

RMU originally partnered with Taymar Sales U. in 2019 as the company’s fifth client and is one of 16 current college sports clients for the company. The Colonials continue a partnership with a company that also boasts Kentucky, Louisiana State, Wichita State, the University of Connecticut and Michigan State as clients.

“The timing is great for us to expand our work for RMU,” said Taymar Founder/CEO Mark Dyer. “Chris and his team have worked hard to bring hockey back and the future has never been brighter there. Getting new clients is important for any business. Keeping the ones you have and increasing your service to them is even more important.”
